Litter Pick – thank you!
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped on Saturday morning. A mountain of waste was collected – this photo is just some of the rubbish found on our roadside verges… A number of joggers and cyclists have commented that Scarning is noticeably cleaner than neighbouring villages.
We are having another quick litter pick on Saturday 27th March, to collect any bits of rubbish we may have missed, but before the roadside verges start to grow any cover the litter. There shouldn’t be the same quantity as we found last Saturday!
Neil Parsons is the new co-ordinator and we will have a WhatsApp group for volunteers to communicate with each other.
