QR codes poster
You might start to notice these posters on the various village noticeboards and wonder what they’re for. You can either type in the website address, or using the camera on a smartphone, simply scan the QR code and it will take you to the website without the need to type anything.
QR codes are effectively internet barcodes. Many smartphones will scan the QR codes automatically – you simply open the camera app and place the square within a frame. It’s a lot easier and less fiddly than typing in website or email addresses.
