Scarning has a thriving Table Tennis Club, with regular sessions each week on Thursdays between 14.00 – 16.00 in the Village Hall.

There is a charge of £3 per session and a £5 per annum subscription although, as with every Club, these would be reviewed in light of any future increase in hall fees.  There are also match nights for the better players in the Dereham and District league. Home matches tend to be played on Tuesdays evenings starting at 7.30 pm.

For more information please contact Frank Foreman – 01362 687082 or FForeman4@Sky.Com

There is also an outdoor table tennis table at the Shipdham Lane Playing Field, and a second at the Blackthorn Drive Playing Field.

Both are free to use at any time – just bring your own bats and balls. Calm weather will help obviously, and wearing a headtorch might help at night!
