Scarning United Charities runs the allotments on Dereham Road, between there and the A47. The take up of these has been very good and they have proved invaluable to the holders enabling them to grow a wide variety of produce. In the past couple of years the Trustees have paid Anglian Water to put in place a standpipe to provide water, though not to each individual allotment.

Due to people moving etc we now have a few allotments available from as little as £10 per annum and would like to offer these to parishioners, in the first place. We can allocate these on a first come, first served basis. Rents are paid annually in advance by standing order and are usually due on 1st October.

In these difficult times being able to grow your own produce very economically is a great resource so if you would like to apply please speak to Tim Abel who can answer any questions for you. He can be reached on 07990 557445 or 01362 851116, preferably in the evening.
