Anglian Water will be carrying out some survey works in Scarning over the coming months. This work forms part of early-stage assessments regarding potential pipeline routes in the area.
You may see teams carrying out survey work and, in some areas, limited investigations of sites of archaeological interest. This preliminary work will be taking place over the next few months. All the surveyors will carry cards with them, and they are happy to show these if approached.
At this stage, Anglian Water is simply raising awareness so that, should any local residents notice people out and about, you’re aware of who they are and the purpose of their work. As their investigations progress, Anglian Water will engage further with the parish council and local community to share their outline plans and gather any local insight and feedback that may help inform the development of potential route options.
