The next Community Litter Pick is on Saturday 5th March from 9-11am, when a team of volunteers will be out and about. They will be using litter pickers and bags supplied by the Parish Council, and as can be seen from this photo taken earlier this year, collect a huge amount of rubbish!
Why not offer your help?
It only takes an hour or two, and you will be rewarded afterwards by a free cuppa and bacon butty or cake at the Coffee Morning in the village hall.
It is a real community effort, leaving you with a sense of pride and satisfaction, knowing that you’ve helped keep Scarning beautiful. It also coincides with an organised litter pick by Dereham Community Litter Pickers on the same morning, so between us there will be a lot of activity and a lot less litter in our area!
If you would like to be involved, please contact Neil Parsons, via phone, text, email or WhatsApp. His contact details are e11snp@icloud.com or 07860 663678.
Thank you.
