With the current uncertainties over social gatherings, you may be celebrating New Year’s Eve at home rather than Trafalgar Square or Arthur’s Seat, but you can still read of Liz Taylor’s Hogmanay traditions on Page 13.
The following morning, to blow away those cobwebs, you have a choice of two leisurely walks to do. Both will be sociable, but Covid safe, and from either end of the village, so take your pick. Details are on Page 15.
The monthly Coffee Mornings usually take place on the first Saturday, but the January one is planned for the following week – Sat 8th instead – dependent on Covid restrictions of course. Please see Page 21 for further details.
Sadly, the monthly Dirty Donkey Dos will definitely not be able to take place until Covid restrictions are relaxed. Hopefully, that will not be too long, so keep an eye out for good news in the newsletter or on noticeboards, or on this website.
