Music Therapy Norfolk (MTN), originally ‘Music & Special Needs Norfolk’ is a charity set up in 1983 to promote music therapy in Norfolk. Music therapy is available and could be developed if funding can be accessed.
The charity needs a chairman, treasurer and the secretary and other helpers if possible. We have one or two meetings a year , currently on Zoom. Officers need to be able to access and send emails.
Norfolk Music Therapists Collective, NMTC, has five music therapists who meet frequently and coordinate their work. There are experienced, distinguished, & highly trained therapists available for work, after a very difficult spell in lockdown. MTN hopes to survive to support them in their life-changing work now there are so many with mental health needs.
MTN hope to hold their AGM on 7.30 on Thursday 3rd February. Please contact me (details below) if you would like the agenda & the online link. We very much hope to renew our link with the schools & the hub.
