Norfolk County Council has completed a significant improvement to the Norfolk Coast Path – part of the King Charles III England Coast Path – in West Lynn. The improved section of the trail is 1.2km long, the unmade surface has been upgraded to a 1.2-metre-wide tar and chip footpath, enhancing accessibility and safety for pedestrians.
The King Charles III England Coast Path National Trail will be the longest managed coastal path in the world. It will go all the way around the coast of England and will be around 2,700 miles long when it is complete.
The full Norfolk Coast Path runs from the border with Suffolk in the east, near Hopton-on-Sea, to the border with Lincolnshire in the west, near Sutton Bridge.
