Plan B is in action due to the terrible weather forecast on Sunday!
Bring a picnic to enjoy in dry warmth of the church rather than the wet and windy playing field. There is artwork by Scarning school children, flower decorations and a photographic display of village life to enjoy. It will be preceded by a Jubilee Thanksgiving Service from 11.15 to 12.15. Everyone is welcome to the service but if you’d like to arrive afterwards, please wait until the service has finished.
The outdoor fete will be replaced by an indoor craft fair in the village hall, and there will be as many activities as we can squeeze in, as there are also marquees and gazebos in the rear garden. The craft fair will run from 1pm to 4pm as planned.
Today’s events are all taking place as planned – the Art Exhibition, the Coffee Morning, the Afternoon Cream Teas in the village hall and rear garden, plus the school artwork, photos and flowers in the church.
So, the Jubilee celebrations will take place, with everyone staying warm and dry!
Please spread the word so that we can all still have a day to remember. Thank you.
