For prevention to succeed, and to improve the health of people in Norfolk over the next decade, individuals and communities must play their part too. This involves making healthier choices for ourselves and our families, which is why we launched a new online platform Ready to Change. It focuses on the four key healthy lifestyle behaviours – smoking, alcohol use, healthy weight and diet, and physical activity. The platform was developed in partnership with behaviour change experts from the University of East Anglia, using evidence-based research proven to help people change their behaviours. The tools and resources can also be applied to any unwanted behaviour to bring about change.
