The Johnson family of 11 Weldon Road are repeating their brilliant initiative they did last year, by giving away sunflower seedlings to residents to grow for the rest of the summer. Last year they gave away 150 plants and this year they will have 422 plants in total, but they are very popular, so if you haven’t already got yours, you’d better be quick!
Hopefully we can include stories and photos of the sunflowers growing during the summer, and perhaps we can have a competition to see who grew the tallest plant!
