Tennis Club Update
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4th January of new national lockdown restrictions to be introduced across England, regrettably, all indoor and outdoor tennis facilities will need to close. There are two tennis courts situated on the playing field behind the Village Hall. Since March 2020, both courts had been kept open for all to use as the Playing Field Committee wanted everyone to have the chance to exercise during COVID, however during the lockdown periods they have been locked.
Once we are permitted, the Tennis Club will start to have weekly club sessions again – weather permitting, on Sundays between 10.00-12.00 over the winter months. All are welcome to come along if you would like to meet fellow players and have a sociable game of tennis.
