Vintage Bus Day returning to Mid-Norfolk Railway in 2024

Take a trip back in time as a heritage railway has announced the return of its Vintage Bus Day this spring.

The annual event is back at Dereham Station on Sunday, May 12 2024 from 10am to 5pm and it is organised by the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

There will be around 30 modern or vintage buses and coaches on display, dating from the 1930s to the present day. There will be free vintage bus rides available on different routes between Dereham and Hardingham, with connections to trains, Dereham and County School and the local Dereham to Yaxham circular run.

Train services will also be running on the Mid-Norfolk Railway, with details to be provided nearer the date.

Due to the display of vehicles at Dereham Station, there will only be limited parking for blue badge holders on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone else is encouraged to park in the Cherry Tree or Theatre Street car parks.

Bus and train timetables will be published soon and you can see train fares at midnorfolkrailway.co.uk/vintagebusday
